BIO
Wanyun Cui is an associate professor at the School of Information Management and Engineering, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He received his PhD from Fudan University in 2017, advised by Wei Wang and Yanghua Xiao. His research interests lie at the intersection of language and knowledge. Now he is particularly interested in large language models (LLMs). He has published several papers as first author in NeurIPS, ICLR, SIGMOD, PVLDB, IJCAI, AAAI, ACL, and EMNLP. He has been recognized as an AI 2000 Most Influential Scholar Honorable Mention (2012-2021, 2013-2022) and has won the ACM China Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Nomination Award (top 4 in China) and the ACM Shanghai Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award (top 2 in Shanghai).
π΄ I am recruiting highly self-motivated and hardworking students. π΄ If you enjoy doing challenging research or enjoy working on LLM-related projects, please do not hesitate to contact me.
